Groov Limited (Groov or our, us or we) complies with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Australia), which incorporates the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU and UK residents. By proceeding with submitting your requests on this website, you consent to us collecting your personal information and using it as described here and in the Privacy Policy, including data automatically collected from your device and information you provide. If you do not consent to this, do not proceed. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the app from your phone or contacting us to delete your data. Our usual process of collecting personal information is to collect the personal information directly from you but when organisations sign up to provide our Platform to their staff, we may collect personal information about you from those organisations.

Our primary purposes for collecting your personal information are to identify you and grant you access to your account, provide you with our services including Ask Groov, provide you with customised information and content, send you relevant notifications, let you know about our policies and terms and changes to our services, provide you with technical support and respond to your questions or concerns and other customer care related activities.

Device information: Technical data automatically collected from your device
How we use your data
Groov may use your email for account verification, Groov-led communications and marketing (e.g., emails sharing new product offerings and features).
Groov may conduct aggregated, anonymised analysis of data to understand how people use Groov's products, including Ask Groov.
How we protect your data
You have control over your conversation data and can request deletion at any time, either through the app (under Account settings in Your Data) or by contacting us.
Groov deletes your data promptly when requested, except where we’re required otherwise for safety or legal compliance
Groov does not use your data to train models and will not sell your data to third parties.
Data storage and international transfers
We primarily operate in Australia and New Zealand, and your personal information is processed and stored within Australia and New Zealand. We work with trusted service providers and contractors in these regions to deliver our services. Otherwise, we do not disclose your personal information to overseas recipients.

You have a right to access any personal information we hold and may ask us to update or correct your personal information.
